As in previous years, Craig is in the judging panel and undertakes role play scenarios with the finalists, which is a critical part of selecting the overall winner. Role playing tests each individuals in an identical situation and reveals interesting results that would not be uncovered using a traditional interview panel. It demands on-the-spot thinking as it can not be prepared for in advance. He can testify to the very high standard of the finalists and maintains that it gets harder each year to separate out the very best.
Craig says that, “Corporate Receptionists have the power and control over every aspect of the guest experience. They deserve an award like this, one that recognises the critical role they have in creating a memorable experience.”
